Stone skipping

Stone skipping is a fond childhood memory. Stones bouncing on the water surface create ripples, connecting people with the waterfront. This proposal uses “Stone Skipping” as a concept to shape a series of waterfront nodes along the Keelung River.

Waterfront space should not be merely closed flood levees, but a meeting point for resident leisure and nature. Wooden decks and water platforms extend to the water surface, allowing visitors to feel the river heartbeat up close.
